Edenfield honours the efforts of returned veterans, providing unique services to assist in a variety of areas including counselling, support groups, service reunions and Anzac and Remembrance Day outings.

We understand the effects previous defence service can have on lives in advanced age. From mobility assistance, catered for those who may have sustained injury to counselling and social therapy, our compassionate nursing staff will help make daily life as comfortable as possible for returned veterans.

From extreme loss of hearing to both physical and mental scaring, we know not all returned service veterans requirements are the same and will tailor care to ensure each individual need is met.

I wish to thank Edenfield for the extra work they did in looking after my wife during her recent bladder and bed sore problems, As well as taking measure to fix the issues Nurse also constantly monitored her condition until the problem was solved. Also introduced a new method of treating the bed sore which has been more successful than the previous method of treating it. Again Nurse is constantly monitoring the condition and giving me really good advice about managing the problem, I have been grateful for her weekly reviews and advice.

Thanks to the lifestyle staff Thanks go to Daisy and the lifestyle staff and volunteers for making Valentines Day both useful and entertaining. The morning exercise program was fun with fitness (despite my muscles make me aware of using them the following day) This told me I must attend more similar sessions. The afternoon concert was really good – made better by the dancing and singing display given by staff and volunteer which again made it a great fun event All together

I would like to thank the kitchen for providing the usual tasty meals over the Easter and Anzac day holiday periods. Especially pleasing were the homemade salmon patties which replaced the usual shop bought ones. They were really delicious and hopefully the change may be permanent the alternative choices of salads or sandwiches remain extremely high quality and give residents a wider variety of foods to consider.

I would like to thank the 2 carers on Saturday morning and the two carers on Sunday they were so good with my Mum so much appreciated.
